Rimrock Ranch is a beautiful 36 acre ranch situated just outside Joshua Tree National Park in Pioneertown, California that was originally built as the weekend retreat for western actors like Gene Autry and Roy Rogers. The ranch consists of 4 rustic Cabins, retro-fitted Airstream trailers, a lodge and the internationally famous architectural masterpiece known as the Hatch House. The ranch is located just 2 hours from Los Angeles and 40 minutes from Palm Springs. Rimrock is the perfect getaway for those visiting Joshua Tree, Pioneertown or taking in live music at the world renowned Pappy and Harriet’s. Rimrock is also a serene location for weddings, retreats, film/photography shoots or celebrations of any kind.

Our four original 1940′s cabins feature original knotty pine paneling and period furnishings. Cabins 1, 2, and 4 have fully-equipped modern kitchens with coffeemaker, microwave, 4-burner stove, full-size fridge and cook/serve ware, Bluetooth record player, heat and air conditioning. Cabin 3 has a small fridge, microwave, coffee maker, Bluetooth record player, heater and air conditioner. All cabin bathrooms are stocked with soap, shampoo and towels. In addition, cabins 1, 2, and 4 have a private patio with a propane fireplace. All accommodations are equipped with WiFi.

Located 50 feet from the main property, the Lodge is a perfect escape for a larger group or family. With a large living area, dining room, and kitchen, its home away from home. Great for entertaining, the Lodge also has a covered patio with outdoor propane firepit, propane grill and a large yard with excellent desert views.

The Lodge floor plan consists of a Master bedroom with private bath (tub/shower), the bunkhouse wing has an upstairs open ‘loft’ bedroom and two smaller bedrooms sharing a bathroom (tub/shower). It’s also fully-equipped with a modern kitchen including a coffeemaker, double oven with 4-burner stove, full-size fridge, cook/serve ware. All accommodations are equipped with WiFi.

It was the coolest place. Very well designed with huge sliding glass door and window that opens entire space to the desert. We took advantage of the stocked kitchen, hammock and other lounging areas, observation deck and plunge pool. I highly recommend staying here for a truly quiet desert stay.

Named for its showy display of original Hatch Show Prints, The Hatch House is a cozy honeymoon suite with a sitting area, dining table, kitchen, bedroom and bath.

The fully-equipped modern kitchen includes a coffeemaker, 4-burner stove, full-size fridge, cook/serve ware. A modest bathroom is stocked with quality bath amenities, towels and features a tub and hand-tiled shower. All accommodations are equipped with WiFi.
